Description
The Colorado River toad, also known as the Sonoran Desert toad, is the largest native toad in the United States, ranging from 3-7 inches in length and characterized by its olive green to dark brown color and warty skin. It has a cream-colored belly and lives in desert, semi-arid areas, as well as grasslands and woodlands, often near large streams or temporary water sources.
